A Better QoS Configuration for Gaming?

I've been getting unplayable lag on PC games when my housemates are also using the internet. I configured QoS on my Billion 7800NL modem which has helped a bit but it's not great. The best configuration I found isn't perfect either - it restricts everyone elses downloads instead of prioritising my PC only when it's in use.

Does anyone know if there's a better QoS config? At the moment I've set myself up on a static IP 192.168.1.1 and then started DHCP for everyone else at 192.168.1.20. I've then setup the following rules: - 192.168.1.1 upload priority: high - 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.253 upload priority: low - 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.253 download limit: 90%

I would like to set download/upload priorities instead of a limit so everyone isn't always 90% restricted but when I choose WAN to LAN (download) I only get options for limiting the bandwidth as a percentage or setting a DSCP marking? I'm not sure what that setting does.

My internet is ADSL2 which gets at least 10Mbps down and 1Mbps up at peak times and there's no lag when others aren't using the internet so hopefully it's possible to fix.

Thanks for any suggestions.
