After working up several quotes for new clients I’m noticing it’s harder and harder to get away from DNA licensing which of course jacks up the price for even basic L2 functionality (e.g. 9200 series catalyst)
With Cisco’s apparent devotion to this I’m starting to wonder if my ASAs will see version 10 of the OS come out and it’ll suddenly require DNA licensing to become usable, and therefore supportable.
Any ideas if this is on the roadmap ? I simply can’t see something like this not happening with the transitions to a software license for just about everything.
