I need to site to site two small offices in the near future. I would like dedicated hardware to be doing this, but sadly do not have a WAN static IP, and am forced to use duckdns for the naming *looks at the owners*. They are already using Ubiquiti APs for their wifi needs, and the controller is running on an unRAID server in a docker (as is the duckdns). I have been looking into the Ubiquiti USG just to keep as much of everything in one place, but ran across this thread https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Routing-Switching-Feature/Use-dns-hostnames-for-IPSec-VPN/idi-p/1624181/page/12#comments
which basically says you have to use static wan ips to setup the site to site VPN (craziness!). Sadly, the router/modem/onu has to be isp provided (Japan limitation).
Long story short, I'm wondering if anyone has gotten it setup with these kind of hardware setup/limitations, and if not, what alternative hardware might be recommended. I need VOIP capable hardware, but they are a small company so we are looking at under 200 per device. TBH, at this point I'm 1/2 tempted to just throw in Raspberry Pi's, slap on docker and run all of this software driven from those. But, that will destroy any chance of high bandwidth...
