Hey guys - I was curious how any of y’all deal with the bits of envy that comes in when comparing salary numbers to software engineers. I’m about 5 years into the field working as a Network Engineer, but I have unique chance to go back to school to finish up a CS degree.
I love what we do, but love programming as well. I’m just now approaching 70k and it sucks seeing new CS grads getting 75k out of the gate after all the training we do.
