Hey,
We had a network tech configure a switch at our corporate office.
Config ISP Modem -> ISP Firewall -> Our Firewall -> Switch -> Devices behind switch
So we have a bunch of VOIP devices on the switch with QoS set for DSCP. I noticed the port connected from our firewall to the switch wasn't configured as a trunk port. From my understanding, for the link port, you would want to configure it as a trunk port so that if you do any tagging (VOIP Vlan is tagged) it'll pass it a long.
I am no networking expert, but just want some clarification if my understanding is correct where the firewall from the switch should be trunked. The VOIP phones weren't tagged as well, which I went ahead and did and then trunked the appropriate port as well (Firewall to switch)
