Public WIFI solutions, captive portal and authentication

First i hope i am not breaking the rules of this subreddit, if i do tell me and i will remove my post.

I’m looking to create a public WIFI using Zeroshell and to manage my captive portal with Zerotruth. Before this i looked into several solutions and i can't seem to find the perfect one.

What I was tasked to do is to create a solution where the users would only have to fill a box with a mail address and click on login and they would have access to the network. This seems to be the standard used in the airport, hotel, and various ski station.

I would like to know what the solutions are used by those airport, hotel, and ski station.

I also need to be able to see which users is connected with it’s IP address, Mac address and Mail address.

Then I need to be able to access and save the logs of what they are accessing for one year according to the law of my country.

I was wondering if it was possible to do and if someone had other solutions to give to me, the only problem is it must be an Open-Source solution.
