Let's take Verizon for example. verizon distributes an IP address to each customer using 1 router. I assume Verizon has a huge block of static IP addresses but how do they automatically assign one that's not static to their customers? Do they have some kind of Enterprise DHCP system they use? If I were to create my own ISP how would I distribute IP's to each end user?
