I apologize if this is the wrong sub for this question. I am trenching about 400 feet for an underground electrical line (200 amp service) that needs to be 3.5 feet deep. I would like to run Cat6 in the same trench to get a DSL connection to he new construction as well. i was thinking i would put a foot or two of dirt over the electrical conduit and then lay the cat6 line over it but i didnt know if the electrical interference would be too much. I know the phone company runs the lines air gapped next to the high voltage for miles, so i was hoping it wouldn't be a problem. can i do this in one trench or do i need to do two?
