connecting a file server to my network

Hi all,

I'm trying to assemble a new server to act as file server, I'm going to by HPE DL380 Gen10 868710-B21. replacing an old one, on premises.

I have a HP Aruba 5412Rzl2 switch with J9993A module (8-port 1G/10GbE SFP+) and 4 j9150a (HPE X132 10G SFP+ LC SR Transceiver).

I am wondering how I can connect the server to get the best performance and bandwidth.

I'm looking at this HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server - Option Parts https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00019685en_us&docLocale=en_US#N1020F

If I bay something like the HPE FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 534FLR-SFP+ adapter I will be able to connect the server to my environment? Or I'm not in the right direction at all?

Most data on the server are dwg files (AutoCAD) and Aerial photographs with size from few mb to about 2GB. So most of the activity against the server is reading the files.

The old server was windows server, but I thought to try freenas as I saw several comparisons that freenas is a faster file server.

Thank you very much to everyone who helps :)
