Coaxial to Ethernet Bridge

Is there anything that can be bought to extend a coaxial connection across a switched network?

For example: coax A --> Ethernet Switch VLAN 10 --> Coax B

I'd like to see if I can extend a coax connection across a VPLS network for shiggles.
