I'm hoping someone here can help shed some light on Cisco Smart licensing for me.
I have a few new Catalyst 9200's on IOS-XE 16.9.2 and Cisco smart licensing is mandatory.
I've read the switch typically calls home every 30 days and if it's unable to contact the Cisco servers after 90 days enters an Authorization expired state.
My question is, does this impact the functionality of the switch? Will it brick the box until resolved?
I'm not planning on this happening but just want some clarity for peace of mind.
