Which Certification would make a technician more knowledgeable about wiring Cat 5/e and Cat 6/e Walljacks and networking infastructure in general?

Trying to figure out what direction to go career wise and feeling that hardware and infastructure is a bit more secure and better paying than the software side but all leads and information are helpful.
