I am hoping to get some advice for a large scale wifi-deployment that I have been tasked with.
It has been a while since I worked with setting up network infrastructure, as for the past few years I have mainly been a server admin and IT support for a food manufacturer.
We are breaking ground on a new facility that is a 40,000 sq feet open-air facility (two stories). We would like to have WIFI coverage throughout the plant for mobile devices such as tablets as well as laptops.
It is my understanding that this would be best achieved setting up a MESH network of WAPs instead of a WAP + Repeaters, but please correct me if I am wrong.
What would you guys suggest? Is Cisco still the go to as far as brand? Any models that you can recommend?
