I'm pondering whether the following is sensible;
- Access switches speaking ICCP to create a control-plane independent LAG facing CE (CE in this case is a switch stack)
- Each access layer switch doing an MPLS L2VPN at a PE (PE0, PE1)
- On PE0/PE1, a BGP EVPN; stitching L2VPN into EVPN with equal ESI on both PEs
Is this doable/sensible? I realise that I'd get MAC flipping if I tried this with VPLS at the PE, but in theory with an EVPN and same ESI things should be okay...?
EDIT: My access switches don't (usefully) support EVPN
