I currently hold a CCENT, and plan to expand that to a CCNA R&S. This is largely because Cisco training is so widely available and has been instrumental in my skills growth, though I’m no longer using Cisco gear at my current job.
I’m administering several Fortigate firewalls, however we may only be using them for 2-3 years so I’m not certain vendor specific training is the best option.
What I’m curious about is if there exists any sort of advanced, vendor neutral, training on concepts at or above CCNA level that are applicable across vendors, leaving me to only learn vendor specific implementations as needed.
