Hi guys,
I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking this and appreciate any responses. We have a portable X-Ray system that is basically the X-Ray Plate that connects to a dongle plugged in to a laptop running the software. It is a DX-D40G X-Ray. The problem is we have a lot of issues with the dongle sometimes not wanting to connect to the plate at all or dropping connection intermittently but sometimes is steady . The laptop also connects to our internal WiFi. There seems to be little to no issue with our internal WiFi except for a certain deadspot in between access points but the internal wifi connection to the laptop is generally stable. The error is usually with the dongle network. The vendor has been asked to come out before and is saying the issue is with dongle WiFi connection between the plate is due to too many channels overlapping on WiFi networks in the area. I have some doubts but no real way of disproving so I would like to verify this myself and was wondering if anyone here has some good tool suggestions to use or any tips. I haven't done too much digging in to WiFi problems like this. The internal wifi access points are SonicWall SonicPoint NDRs and the Dongle connecting to the X-Ray Plate is an Asus USB ACS3 Nano USB Wireless adapter in case that is relevant to any of you guys.
