We have two ISE servers that are virtualized that both DIED completely during a "UCS issue"
It involved storage and it caused strange behavior where the tacacs servers were kinda up, but down, certain services seemed to work, the server would respond to ping, but the tacacs returns must have been all sorts of fucked up.
Because of this, I couldn't login via tacacs, because of the "semi up status" it wouldn't fail over to local. We couldn't log into the esxHosts to even shut the servers off. It was a mess.
At any rate, I want to ensure 100% no matter what, that when I login via console it uses a self assigned username stored locally.
Who can help with the commands to ensure this is ALWAYS the case no matter what!?
