Local variable in cisco

Hi!

I am trying to finish a migration and this migration includes the configuration of a backup way. In the switches which have the chance to use archive I have used that.

But, there are some that arent able to use archive and in that switches I have thought a solution using kron and show run | redirect ftp://10.x.x.x . My doubt is if I can use a variable with the value of the hostname and the time as in archive we do with $h and $t. Because I must save the backup file with the same name estructure than the ones that use archive.

I am in a machine with Cisco Ios and the switches are 2950, 2960....
