Is daisy-chaining from VoIP phone to computer bad practice?

Getting new VoIP PBX installed (Sangoma PBXact 60).

Most existing workstations have 2 network points - 1 For computer and 1 for old phone. Existing Cable to computer is RJ45 and cable to phone is RJ45 with a BT telephone adapter. The old system Is a BT Meridian Norstar.

The new phones are Sangoma s305's (100mb eithernet port) and s705's (GB eithernet port) phones.

New switches are Dreytek VigorSwitch P1280 1Gb PoE.

Install wise it'll be a lot easier if I let them share.. as just patching from existing switch's to new PoE switches.

If I keep them separate.. I'll need run new RJ45 cables from walls etc to phones.

Will sharing the connections cause issues with network speeds... Or should I give users separate phone and computer connection? Thanks
