Dual connections from server to switch. One 1GbE RJ45 and on 10GbE

I have a rack server with one 1GbE RJ45 and one 10GbE SFP+ port. I need to have this dual connected, either through one switch or two but I'm concerned that it's not best practice to have dual connections with interfaces running at different speeds. Should I be looking at running the 10GbE SFP+ at 1GbE in order to achieve parity?

The server will be used for monitoring CPEs and there is a requirement for resiliency (hence the two ports).

Any help with this will be appreciated. Thanks.
