I am curious to find out whether anybody out there is using GTT as a service provider for their place of work/business.
I am based in the UK and work for a global organisation. For our EMEA based offices, we went with GTT (Interoute at the time of purchase) circuits within our offices and to be blunt, they have been absolutely awful.
Their customer service is some of the worst I have come across, they lack basic communication skills and email updates when there are issues. Our own account manager refuses to answer emails regarding live issues and then when he’s dragged into a call he claims it’s the “first he’s heard” of it.
This has been going on since I’ve been with the company (nearly 2 years now) and each time we get them in to discuss how we’re going to make this relationship better, the account manager leaves and is replaced. This has also happened to the technical resource on our account.
This is just a brief explanation of some of the pain I’ve felt personally dealing with them. As a company, we have tried extremely hard to sit down with them and work things out, that hasn’t worked. We got our CTO involved and he spoke to someone high up there, which also appears to have done nothing.
I am keen to know if it’s just us by chance, or if their service is generally quite poor across the board.
