I'll be needing a 96 port PoE+ switch. Right now we have one SF300 24 port non PoE Switch for our data and 2 x 24 port avaya switches.
I was thinking of getting 2 x 3810M 48 Ports and stacking them but then I heard of the HP 540R ZL2 switch which I can simply add expansion modules to get the 96 ports needed.
Reason for upgrading is because were adding in VOIP and getting rid of Avaya.
Was wondering - is there any drawbacks to either or? Any recommendations if I should go with 2 x 3810M or 1 x 5406. Cost wise the 5406 seems to be only $1000 more which is fine.
