Comcast ENS \ EPL Use Case

I am somewhat new to the EPL and was wondering if the following use case is a good idea.

I am working on a site that has corporate HQ and 4 branches. They are connected via ENS with EDI going out Corp. Each site has its own VLAN with the ENS being handled by routed ports on L3 switches and its own VLAN.

They are consolidating Servers down to HQ and one other Branch. In the near future they are adding VOIP.

1) . Put the EPL in its own VLAN and Put the Servers across both Branches in it? This would give dedicated bandwidth for AD Replication, Veeam Replication, etc. Also in a DR scenario no DNS or IP changes needed. Is this a Valid scenario or not recommended?

2). Do away with the EPL, if possible, as it is costly. Couldn't I do 1) with a tagged VLAN across the two sites? or would that not be recommended? Veeam Replication could be done over night, VOIP could be QoS.

3). Other Uses?
