Are there any recommended industry best practices, certifications, or courses that can walk a semi-technical manager through what steps I would need to take to ensure my technical/execution team is taking when upgrading large portions of a network?
Specifically looking for more info on what kind of pre- and post-checks should be conducted, ports and protocols validation, how to handle non-standard applications on the network, rollback plans, etc.
I think I really need some sort of checklist to walk through with my team to ensure we’re all on the same page and all tracking the “Big Rocks” that can make or break a network upgrade.
