I need to remove a layer 3 HP switch and move gateways/SVIs to our layer 3 cisco switch, this part is easy. The problem I am having is the riverbed, its an old device with copper 1G interfaces. The group that uses this riverbed still wants to use it, I'm trying to figure out a way to put the riverbed inpath just for 10.0.40.0/24 after it is moved to the layer 3 cisco switch. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? VRFs?
I'm trying to go a couple different routes besides using this riverbed. I either convince this group the riverbed is not benefiting them or someone needs to find some money to buy a 10G riverbed and I'll put it between the firewall and the layer 3 cisco.
