I'm working on a test deployment of PacketFence ZEN 8.1.0. I have a HP ProCurve switch configured with Port-Access and the radius server is working, but there seems to be a issue of PF not stripping the domain portion off the username.
If I authenticate as username, it works, and the user is added to the "Users" list with all his details populated from AD. If I authenticate as DOMAIN\username, it still authenticates correctly, however the user is added to the "Users" list as a new, different, user, in the format "DOMAIN\user"; and without populating any data from AD.
Is it possible to have PF treat 'DOMAIN\user1' and 'user1' as the same user?
