This is most likely a silly question, but I’ve been researching this and I can’t find anything on it. I’ve been looking for an answer as to why router speeds seem so high. The Internet I have is 14 Mbps and router these days I see say these like AC1750. Now I understand that these speeds are probably a combination of the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and real world speeds are a lot slower, but either way the router speeds are significantly higher than my actual speed. Why is this?
