Scheduled upgrade

Is there anyone that are doing this? Or are you also working nights/weekends to upgrade your software?

With scheduled I mean for example that you set a timer when the desired equipment (firewall, router, switch) will install the new software and reboot by itself. Then having the monitor system/noc notify you by call/text if the device wont come up after reboot.

This will be sort of a dream for us. At the moment maybe 9 out of 10 of our upgrades are going according to plan. So it would save a lot of overtime.

We will be starting to test different way of accomplish this soon, just looking for any success story's.
