RADIUS server synching to Google accounts. Thoughts/experiences?

I'm helping out a friend's small company of ~30 users, all using google's business account services for email/calendar/business type things. They do not have any kind of servers on site, and no Directory Services of any kind. Most work is done with personal laptops or occasionally company-issued stock Macbooks with no administrative controls.

I'd like to implement 802.1x on their wireless networks for basic access control, I won't be doing any kind of VLAN provisioning. But I still need some kind of a RADIUS server to authenticate against, and it needs a user database somewhere to reference. Ideally, we'd just use their company google usernames/passwords to log onto their company wifi.

What are your experiences and methods of accomplishing this? Jumpbox was the first option that googling turned up, but at $10/user/month it's a lot more expensive than I'd expect.
