PRI to SIP migration?

We've recently had a vendor replace our ancient phone system with a new Cisco phone system. Right now, our voice gateway connects to a PRI but we want to go to SIP. Additionally, we will be changing to a different telcom when we do this, so all our numbers will be ported.

I am the main sysadmin (doing everything) at my current role and I have moderate networking knowledge as I have configured all of our switches, vlans, firewalls, routers, and everything else here. I just don't have too much experience with voip yet, nor Cisco equipment, and I am still learning the Cisco Call Manager.

I mainly wanted to see if anyone could provide input or direction for SIP migration in regards to if it's fairly easy to switch from PRI to SIP. My boss wants to save money by doing it ourselves vs contract the vendor again (if possible). I know there would be some changes needed in the Cisco Call Manager, but I'm not sure how much and I'm not sure what I would need to change on the voice gateway. Voice gateway router is a Cisco ISR4321.

I do plan to start looking on Cisco for all this information when I actually get started. I just wanted to get a bit of input from you guys here first as well.
