Say, I have a budget of $400 for networking devices (WiFi is not in the scope) for my Soho/smb. Majority of the traffic would be (50% intranet and 50% Internet) web surfing, file transfer and stream. What would be more efficient way to spend the money? Option 1: a $350 router and a $50 hub Option 2: a $50 router and a $350 L3 switch Option 3: ?
