We've been having too many mystery wifi problems where I work for us to not have a spectrum analyzer. I'm looking at the RF Explorer 6G Combo because the price is an easy sell to the boss and it can be used (albeit more difficultly) as a standalone device without needing a laptop. If it works well it's a stepping stone to pitching a more expensive device later.
As far as software for it, will the Touchstone Pro software be sufficient, or is anyone aware of better alternatives?
If anyone has recommendations on what they consider better RF spectrum analyzers that at least cover both wifi bands I'd love to hear them, too.
