I'm thinking of taking a few IT certifications over the next few years to bolster my knowledge and have some certifications behind me to prove it.
Many years ago I was told that CCNA is a good entry level as it covers a lot of the basics and is internationally renowned. Is CCNA still seen as one of the reputable certs? Or is it so commonplace now that another alternative would be better? In my organisation we primarily use Juniper, would it be better to go with one of the Juniper certs over Cisco?
I currently have no certifications in networking, but would like to gain at least one to improve my employability and knowledge of the various protocols and networking solutions. Thank you all in advanced!
