While I'm happily employed right now, one day I'd like to pivot into an architecture role focused more on design than day to day operations. In the meantime I'd like to make sure I'm doing everything I can to make it happen. While I can approximate what I need to focus on by looking at job descriptions, I'm curious how my peers have made this jump. Have you made this move? How did you do it? What advice would you give a senior level engineer looking to make next steps?
