We have a HA pair of Peplink Balance 710 and one of them is not well and needs replacing. I just checked their website and apparently the 710 is still available. As I have not worked with them before I'm not sure about their upgrade policies and compatibility.
Do I need to upgrade the remaining old one to the FW of the new one so that the failover works? The FW seems to be available for download on the Peplink website. Can I just download it and install it or do I need a license? I'm more a Cisco person so this 'here have this new FW' spooks me.
